We reserve the right to cancel the hire, if at the commencement of hire, nominated drivers licences are invalid or not in accordance with the conditions. In these circumstances, all monies paid by the hirer will be kept by Castleview Motorhomes. Whilst every effort is made to ensure that the hirer receives the vehicle booked should any unforeseen damage or fault occur and it is not possible for us to restore the vehicle to its full roadworthy condition then we reserve the right to offer a substitute vehicle, to return any payments made by the hirer or cancel the hire if this is deemed necessary.

Other Costs Involved
A cash insurance security deposit of four hundred pounds (£400) must be paid by the motorhome collection date. This deposit is held against any and all damage to the motorhome. In the event that any damage to the motorhome is greater than four hundred pounds (£400), the hirer will be charged up to an additional three hundred and fifty pounds (£350) to meet the deductible requirements of the insurance company.
Your security deposit will be returned in cash less any damages. We give our motorhomes to you in clean, undamaged and complete condition; please make sure you return them in the same way. We also offer the option of a TomTom satellite navigation unit for only £20 per week's hire.
You are responsible for all expenses incurred due to violation of traffic laws, regulations etc. and for the company's security deposit in the event of an accident. In the event of an accident which is not due to the hirer's negligence, our liability is limited to a refund of hire charge for any days lost.
If you are late back with the motorhome, it usually means us letting down another client. We therefore charge a late return surcharge of £100.00 plus the daily rate. This usually ensures we don't let anyone down
All accidents / breakdown must be reported to us immediately, for further instruction. Repairs must first be authorised by ourselves and VAT receipts retained in order for us to reimburse the cost. An accident report must be completed and returned to us on termination of hire. It is highly recommended that the hirers have personal AA or RAC recovery plans, for Europe this is compulsory.
The motorhome is comprehensively insured for one driver who is responsible for the insurance excess which in this case is £750. Extra drivers may be added at a minimal cost.
We expect you to regularly check oil, water and tyre pressure levels during the hire period. You are also responsible for repair of punctures and damaged tyres.
The hirer's personal property is not covered by our insurance policy and so we advise you to take out travel and cancellation insurance.
We supply one bottle of gas. Extra gas required is at your expense and no refund will be given.
A charge of £30 will be made if the toilet is not returned clean and empty.
Should a hirer wish to cancel, the deposit paid will not be refunded.
